RMUTT and UPI Join Forces for International TVET Workshop

Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), in collaboration with Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) under the Regional Association of Vocational and Technical Education in Asia (RAVTE) network, successfully co-hosted an international workshop titled “Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in TVET: Empowering Educators for Future Skilled Workforce.”

The workshop was held on December 16, 2025, at the Faculty of Technical Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), Thailand. The event aimed to promote the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and best practices on the integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence into Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance the competencies and potential of TVET educators and personnel, equipping them with essential digital and AI-related skills. This initiative supports the development of a high-quality, future-ready workforce capable of meeting the demands of rapidly evolving industries in the digital era.

The workshop also strengthened international academic collaboration between RMUTT and UPI, reinforcing their shared commitment to advancing TVET innovation and educator capacity-building through regional and global cooperation.

RAVTE AB & EB Meetings on November 25th, 2025

          The Regional Association of Vocational and Technical Education in Asia (RAVTE) successfully convened its 2025 Joint Advisory Board (AB) and Executive Board (EB) Meeting on Tuesday, November 25th, 2025, via an online platform. The meeting was officially chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sommai Pivsa-art, President of RAVTE, reaffirming the Association’s continued commitment to facilitating high-level regional collaboration.
Key Strategic Discussions
The Boards engaged in several important discussions and strategic planning sessions, including :
          – Next General Assembly Meeting (GAM) 2026 :
            The Boards reviewed the timeline and preparation for the upcoming General Assembly Meeting (GAM) 2026, which will be hosted by Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in June 2026.
          – International Engagement – UNESCO 2026 Conference :
            The Boards discussed RAVTE’s participation in the UNESCO 2026 Conference, scheduled to take place from September 30 to October 2, 2026. The conference will be conducted in a hybrid format, with both online sessions and on-site activities hosted in Germany.
           Operational Updates : 
            – The meeting concluded with updates on ongoing operational strategies, along with valuable feedback and recommendations contributed by both the AB and EB members.
