RMUTT Songkran Festival was held on 10th April , 2023. The Chairperson of the event was Assoc. Prof. Dr.Sommai Pivsa-Art, the President of RAVTE and RMUTT and Assoc. Prof. Dr.Numyoot Songthanapitak, Former President of RAVTE and Rmutt attended the event.
      Songkran💦 is Thailand’s most famous festival. An important event on the Buddhist calendar, this ‘water splashing’ festival marks the beginning of the traditional Thai New Year, pour water on the hands of revered elders and ask for blessing. The name Songkran comes from a Sanskrit word meaning ‘passing’ or ‘approaching’. Although getting well and truly soaked is what makes this festival so famous.
